Young at Heart:
7 Tips

In 2012 I attended a seminar in New York about growing your business. Once I came back home, I realized that although the seminar was about growing your business, the most important element was something that had nothing to do with business.
It was all about your life and the message that you have to give to the world.
This made me realize, again, that our work life is always a reflection of our private life and it is how we live our private life that determines the success of our business. It made it clear to me that being young and having a growing business has nothing to do with age. It has to do with keeping a young spirit.
Thanks to the wonderful site of Amazing Women Rock I’ve found some tips how we can always stay young.
So here they are, seven tips how to stay young at heart:
#1
Throw out the non-essential numbers
This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them. Cherish your health, though. If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
#2
Keep learning
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’
#3
Enjoy the simple things
And laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
#4
The tears happen
Endure, grieve, forgive and move on. The only person who is with you your entire life, is you. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
#5
Surround yourself with what you love
Whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge. And keep only the cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
#6
Don’t take guilt trips
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county or to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is!
#7
Tell the people you love that you love them
Every opportunity you get!
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Sharing is caring!
Now I am curious…
