Access Inner Power: 7 Methods

You are powerful! Did you know that inside of you, you have a hidden reservoir of limitless energy and power? So strong that it can make miracles happen. So powerful that it sets you up for health, energy, vitality, and dynamic living. Well, you do…

When you tap into that inner power and create channels to let it flow outwards, it will add to your charisma and makes you beautiful from the inside out. It will give your spoken words power. That special energy unleashed will also exorcise all the negativities.

To [re-]awaken this powerful aspect of yourself you must open up to your most inner core. Take the time to sit still, to just ‘be’ and to quiet down your mind. Get to know your authentic self. It is as simple as becoming aware of what is happening inside of you.

The following seven methods will help you to create a direct connection and dialog with your inner self:

Centering

Centering is a powerful technique that brings you into balance quickly. Often your energy is scattered. All over the place. You feel anxious and out of balance. Staying ‘uncentered’ is tiring. Centering brings all of your personal energy back. Centering brings all of your inner power back. Use your breath to get centered quickly. Close your eyes and inhale for three counts. Hold for three counts. Exhale for three counts. After a few rounds of that, attempt to prolong the counts so that your breathing slows down. This process can be helpful in less than a minute.

Grounding

Take a moment to stand with your feet a little wider than hip-width apart. Visualize your body as a tree, with your torso representing the trunk and your feet representing the roots. Focus your attention on your core and scan down your legs until you reach your feet. Notice the ground beneath your feet and feel the strength of your body. Feel your inner power.

Meditation

Meditate daily to gain inner awareness. Close your eyes to shut out distractions, breathe normally, stay relaxed and then direct your mind to go deep inside yourself. Do this for a few moments each day until you become familiar with the exercise. It will soon help you rest your mind, increase your clarity of thinking, and open the inner depths of your own thought processes to you.

Visualization

Visualize and actualize. Access your subconscious. Mental visualizations bring power to your intentions. Use your mind to create pictures that have a canny way of becoming reality. Think of all the outcomes you wish for. See all the outcomes you wish for in your minds eye. It is this visualization that will cause you to actualize all your wishes into reality. Unlock mental magic.

Just believe

Are you trapped by your own disbelief in yourself? The key to unleash your true power is to truly believe you have it. Many of us are victims of ingrained beliefs from our past. But your past doesn’t equal your future. Your past is completely irrelevant to your potential now. Just believe in your own power and tap into it!

Positive expectations

Every morning, while you are still in the half-asleep mode, focus your mind on the happiness of waking up to a brand new day, alive and well. Focus on the positive outcomes you would like to achieve today. Visualize only good news coming to you, and only good people entering your life. This way, only good results will come from all your actions.

Just start

The simple answer of how to unlock your inner power is simply ‘stop resisting’ and just start. Each day you’re presented with a choice. You can either keep your inner power hidden under a pile of fears, regrets, and excuses, or you can let it out. So the best way to begin is to make a conscious choice to live out the rest of today, with the best you. The world needs your abilities and talents!
