I am here to enjoy
It is natural to express your joys, to share your happiness with others. Watch how young children freely display their happiness and delight. As adults we have learned to be more guarded with expressing our emotions, even our positive ones. Give yourself permission to experience your joy whenever you feel it. Don’t feel uneasy showing. Joy isn’t selfish. It is self care!

A sense of purpose comes from the alignment of mind and spirit with the body. Know that you have a purpose. It is what drives you every day. There is substance in the things that you do. There is value in them. Your actions have impact.

Real contentment is the knowledge that at your core, all is well in your world. In this state, you are aware that you have everything you need right now to feel good about yourself, others, and life. True contentment is more than confidence, it is that feeling of inner fulfillment. Creating happiness begins with being content inside yourself. From the smallest random act of kindness to the biggest giveaways, everything is better when you share. When you reach out in kindness, you put into motion an energy that expands exponentially. The generous energy of love, connection, and joy. And that absolutely comes back, always. It is law.

Be gratitude. Live gratitude.

I am living with passion
Passion is the powerful, focused force of happiness directed to a specific interest in life. When we think of passion, we usually think about what we are passionate about, like opera, chocolate desserts, skiing or salsa dancing. But what about passion at a deeper level? Living passion in all areas of our life? Without passion, there is nothing. We need it to survive. We need it to live. And to love and to live some more. We breathe it. It runs through our veins. It is our vital energy.

I keep my brain sharp
The majority of people are stuck in ruts. They go to the same job everyday, hang out with the same friends and eat at the same places. That feels safe, but it’s not the most stimulating lifestyle for your brain. You need to be learning new things to keep your brain up to speed. Form new synapses by forcing your mind to work in ways it has not worked before. Just like physical workouts, doing too much of the same exercise will eventually give no results.

I make a good first impression
Practice a strong, firm handshake and the small talk that generally goes along with meeting someone for the first time. People won’t know what to think of you if you have nothing more to say beyond ‘My name is _______, nice to meet you.’ Also make sure you remember names. Who knows, you may be going into business with or marrying this person if you make a good impression. Be sure and make an excellent one!

I am radiating bliss
Let happiness radiate. Let your joy shine everywhere in the way an illuminated bulb radiates its light in all directions. Simply be who you are from your core self, and everything gets taken care of automatically. A flower doesn’t try to be beautiful and fragrant, it simply is what it is, and the rest follows in its natural course.

To have that powerful transformative effect on others, your peace and serenity need to come from your inner being, not just a superficial mood or attitude. You need to be that peace you want to see happen. You need to be serenity. All is well. Line up with it!

We learn limitation by observing the physical world around us. We get advice like ‘Be realistic’ and ‘Be practical’ all the time. And since a young age we are taught about rules, regulations, and structure that keeps our mind from stretching into the world of fantasy and creation. The only place where there are absolutely no limitations is in your mind, because it’s not physical reality. Your ability to visualize is simply outrageous. If you want to visualize flying cars or underwater skateboards, you can. You can close your eyes in this very moment and imagine anything you want. Start dreaming again!

every breath gives me energy
Everything is energy. Breathing is energy. You are only as healthy as your cells. By supplying them with an ample supply of oxygen, their job of removing toxic wastes is a piece of cake. And there’s plenty of energy left over for you. Deep breathing gives you so much more physical energy that you won’t be able to sit around and moan. When you start breathing properly, you’ll have so much more energy. You’ll find the energy and stamina to complete your goals. You’ll find yourself jumping out of the bed in the morning, excited about life.

Much of society seems to be built on a scarcity mentality. It’s a mentality that tells us that there is a lack in life. That opportunities are few and far between. The scarcity mentality is quite painful and creates a lot of unnecessary fear, anxiety and desperation. An abundance mentality, on the other hand, tells you that there are always new chances and opportunities. This relieves much of the pressure and anxieties within your own mind. Focus on abundance, not on lack. What you focus on, you will see in your world.

Your mind is astonishingly powerful. Focus that power on the good things. Your thoughts create the way you experience life. Focus on what you want to grow in your life, not on what you want to avoid. How often do you stop to count your blessings? In your daily struggle for more, how often do you feel joyful and thankful for the many, many things you already have? Did you know that you already have abundant wealth? Perhaps you don’t feel like it if you’ve just paid the bills, yet we all have an abundance that is almost beyond comprehension. Tap into that abundance by counting your blessings. Take stock of the things you have, the things you know, the people in your life, your spirituality, your skills, your opinions, your special perspective on life, your family, your hobbies, your sense of humor, your appreciation for beauty, your caring for others, your concern for those less fortunate, your ability to see opportunity. The list of possibilities is endless!

In fact it is really just as easy to be successful as it is to be unsuccessful. It is just a matter of choice. You can spend your time doing the things that will bring you closer to your goals, or you can spend your time seeking immediate comfort and gratification.

You cannot ‘get’ rich, unless you are lucky enough to receive an inheritance or win the lottery. To create wealth, you must create value. One of the very best ways to create value is to solve problems. The world is full of opportunities to create value and wealth, and these opportunities come disguised as problems. Look around you. Opportunity is everywhere. There is plenty of abundant wealth just waiting to be created.

Who or what controls your life? The achievers in this world believe that whatever happens to them, they are responsible for it. If you don’t believe that you are responsible for your own life, then you are under the control of circumstances. You are just an object in someone else’s world. That is not the way to success. When you are in control of your life, you succeed at getting where you want to go. And being in control means taking responsibility.

This is an empowering concept when you truly believe it. You are in control of all your actions. You are in control of your attitude. No one else can make you depressed, or lonely or excited. You are in control of your body. You can eat that chocolate cake… or not. You are in control of your relationships. No one can make you feel hurt unless you let them. You are in control of your fears. You are in control of your time. You can choose to make the most of every single minute. And most important: you are in control of your own mind. You decide what to think about things and how to react to different situations.

Expect the best from life and you’ll generally get it. Your expectations play a key role in the reality of your life. Your mind is a powerful goal-seeking device. When you point it in the right direction, with positive expectations, it will do whatever is necessary to get you where you want to go.
