Reflect on three things you are grateful for
How often do you pause to appreciate what you have in life? Sometimes it’s easy to feel bad because you’re going through a tough time in life. However, remember that no matter how bad your situation may seem, there are tens of thousands of things to be grateful for in life.
Treat others the way you wish to be treated
The Golden Rule is true: the rule of treating others as you would want to be treated in their place will ultimately lead to your own happiness. On a day-to-day basis, living by the Golden Rule will make you a better person, will make those around you happier, and will make the community you live in a better place.
Take a breath and say, ‘Everything is OK’
When you’re faced with something that seems troubling or as if a problem doesn’t have a solution, gently remind yourself that everything is OK. All is well, always.
You are perfect!
There is no other way you can be. Stop being unhappy with yourself. Love your face, your body, your personality, your quirks. Without those you wouldn’t be you. Love your flaws. Love your imperfections. They make you YOU. And you are pretty amazing!
As within, so without
It is cosmic law: the inner world reflects in the outer. What is inside will manifest on the outside. What you are inside you will attract on the outside. You literally live in the world which reflects your own inner world.
You were born with wings!
You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness. You were born with wings You are not meant for crawling so don’t. You have wings… Learn to use them and fly!
Say ‘YES’ to this moment [and smile]
‘Always say ‘YES’ to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? What could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say ‘YES’ to life and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.’
It is what it is, while it is
Just breathe. Whatever is happening is simply the reality of the current experience. And whatever is here is also impermanent. This too shall pass.
You are healthy, happy and whole
Love your life. Understand the value of who you are and what you have. Recognize the gifts that you have and make the most of them.
At this very moment, life is perfect
You are where you’re supposed to be, having the experience that you should have in this very moment. At this very moment, life is perfect!
Realize that you are made for joy

Joy requires living with your heart open, sharing yourself with others, daring to pursue what life has in store for you. Whatever your state, whatever your situation, whatever your purpose, always remember that you are made for joy.
This moment is all you get
Is it enough? It’s all too easy to get caught up in a mindset of ‘never enough’ if you aren’t careful. Be aware of the richness of this moment. It’s as if ‘enough’ is spilling over every which way! Love. Money. Warmth and health and wealth. You already have it all!
Your thoughts are not you
You are what observes. You are not your thoughts. You are not your emotions. You are the observer, inhabiting the human body that is having those thoughts and emotions. At your very core, you are pure consciousness. The space in which thought forms and emotions arise. Breathe that in for a second…
You are more than your past limited thinking
The beliefs you hold to be true make up the fabric of your experience. The stronger those beliefs, the more they seem unshakeable, and the more you will find evidence to support them. The vast majority of your beliefs about the world are only true because you’ve decided they are. You are more than your limited thinking. Anything is possible!
There is no such thing as a true thought
Don’t believe everything you think. You can choose what to believe. Just thinking of something doesn’t mean its true. Thoughts are incredibly powerful and can take control of our lives, for good, bad, or somewhere in between. Sometimes thoughts are meaningful and are worth paying attention to. And most of the time thoughts are just noise that is renting too much space in our brains…
Accept where you are today
Take a moment and see where you started. Yes, you may not be where you want to be, but how far have you come? Celebrate what you have already accomplished and be grateful for your progress knowing that there is more and better to come.
Be a positive light in the world today
Shine a happy light into the world. Whatever you focus on, you give it power. Choose to focus on the good, to see beauty everywhere and see the everyday magic.
Compliments are a gift of prosperity
Compliments are not only appreciated by the receiver, they also lift the spirits of the sender! Compliments provide an easy way to bond with others. Which five people will you compliment with gratitude this week? Let one of them be you! And when someone pays you a compliment, do you believe it? Compliments are a gift of prosperity. Accept them graciously!
There is no right or wrong
Move beyond judgement. When you judge someone [or yourself] you are actually defending, denying and dissociating from what you are not willing to see in yourself. This keeps you locked into a limited view of who you truly are and can be. Judgment keeps you small and struggling. There is no right or wrong. There just is.
Relax, nothing is under control
When you stop trying to push for something to happen, things unfold more easily. What is meant to be will come about.
Move forward by letting go of the past
One reason why people don’t always realize their full potential is because they are trapped in the past and are afraid of letting go. Unfortunately, it’s quite difficult to live in the present when your mind is constantly traveling backwards. Let go of your past and move forward. Don’t let your story hold you back. The past has no power over the present moment.
Allow life to unfold as it will
Have a little more patience, and you’ll have a lot less stress. Take a deep, relaxing, refreshing breath, and allow life to unfold as it will. Expect the absolute best of life, while giving your vision plenty of time to unfold. Give your life and your world, and all the others in it, the time they deserve.
Growing and changing is fun
Enjoy the process! Everyday we are faced with choices and decisions. When we finally make up our mind and are ready to change, then it’s important to enjoy the process. Live in the present and enjoy the steps you take toward your goal. Know your goal, focus on the changes, enjoy the process, live out your dreams.
Past and future are memory and fantasy
Time doesn’t exist. Clocks exist. Time is just an agreed upon construct. Future and past are concepts. There is no such thing as tomorrow and yesterday is gone. Time is always now. There is only present, only an eternal now.
Fix your thinking then problems will fix themselves

So many people’s problems are rooted in their way of thinking, which can actually produce a lot of the problems they experience. A negative mind produces negative words and, consequently, a negative life. As you change your thinking, your words will change and so will your life! Change your thoughts and transform your life.
You are unique! Learning how to love yourself is a key ingredient of happiness. Self love is at the very core of wellbeing, joy, self-empowerment, and your ability to enjoy the kind of life you want. Even if you had everything else in your life exactly the way you wanted it, you wouldn’t be able to enjoy it if you weren’t at peace with yourself.
Choose to make it a wonderful day
You can either have a stressed, difficult day or you can have an amazing, wonderful day. It is up to you. Instead of thinking about all the things you have to do today, bring yourself into the present moment and choose an amazing day.
Live your intentions
Instead of judging in advance whether or not something will be enjoyable, make the intention to enjoy. And then live the reality of your own intention. Create your own solid intentions of excellence, fulfillment, joy and effectiveness. Then live those intentions, no matter what.
Whatever you’re doing, do it mindfully
How can you bring calm and peace to the middle of a stress-ful, chaotic day? Learn to be present! Whatever you’re doing, right now, learn to focus completely on doing that one thing. Pay attention to every aspect of what you’re doing, to your body, to the sensations, to your thoughts.
What you resist persists, what you embrace dissolves
Whenever you are experiencing discontentment or unhappiness, there is something you are resisting. Simply acknowledge what is there, allow it to be there and know there is nothing wrong with it. What you resist persists, and the opposite is equally true… what you embrace dissolves.
View all experiences as opportunities to grow
Start looking at life’s harsh realities and toughest challenges as friends that are going to help you grow. Persistence is the single most common characteristic of high achievers. Simply refuse to give up. The longer you hang in there, the greater the chance that something will happen in your favor.
