While waiting for your desires to manifest or for the path to unfold, you may ask: ‘What about the meantime?’ Well, in the meantime you are taken care of. Always know that you are being taken care of by the Universe. Never are you left alone for one moment. Everything is happening according to divine order and divine timing.

Life’s best lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. So yes, you will fail sometimes. The faster you accept this, the faster you can get on with being brilliant.

Many of us don’t like who we are. We feel weak or indecisive or lonely, unhappy with our lives. Be the person you want to be, because you have to see that person every day. Most of us feel this constant pressure to do what others want us to do, do what we’re supposed to do and do what looks successful, right and impressive. Staying true to yourself is acknowledging who you are, knowing what your body needs, knowing what you need to thrive and be present and not letting peer pressures make you do things you’ll later regret.

Happiness is never constant, and it’s not supposed to be. To believe that you can reach a state of happiness and stay there forever, is like a fruit tree believing that if she only holds on tighter, she can keep her fruit from dropping to the ground. Happiness is simply a series of moments that come and go and add sweetness to our lives. Learn to accept this, and the more happy moments you will have.

Look beyond your doubts
Look beyond your doubts and keep searching for the truth. Be aware of your mental self-talk. Listen to your self-talk and replace negative thoughts with positive ones. The sun is always shining on some part of your life. Sometimes you just have to forget how you feel, remember what you deserve, and keep pushing forward.

Look forward to each day
how much of your life are you giving up if you dread, dislike, regret and don’t look forward to, say, 50 percent of your average day? Logical reasoning says that, based on this estimate, you’re giving up half of your entire life. And you’re giving it up simply because you aren’t looking at your life from a healthy perspective. Stop waiting. You can have crazy amounts of joy and excitement in life if you just change the perspective from which you view things. And you can do it by following this one simple rule: Look forward to each day.

Enjoy simple pleasures
Taking only a minute to enjoy something simple could be the difference between a so-so day, and an extraordinary one. In our crazy-busy and overstimulating world it’s easy to overlook the small things we do on a regular basis that could fill the day with joy. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea, enjoy the laughter of your kids, enjoy a quiet place to sit, your favorite tunes, the sunset or your favorite treat.

Lead a balanced life
There is a lot of pressure always to be working. Don’t burn out and crash hard. Don’t sacrifice your health, relationships, and leisure time. Find time for other important things in your life, and especially for important people! A healthy, balanced life is necessary if you are going to have the strength to hang in there for the long term.

Take a leap
What is the number one reason why many people never succeed at their goals in life? Probably the refusal to try! The higher you set your goals, the scarier the prospect of failure can be. But that is no reason not to try. It is hurting you ever day not to give yourself a chance. So take that leap you have been putting off. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You never know, it could be the leap that changes your life.

Focus on the positive wherever possible, but not blindly. Optimism helps you to spot opportunities you would miss if you were focusing on the negative. Plan for the future and for potential pitfalls, and believe there is a way across every obstacle. Otherwise you will turn back long before the journey is complete.

The average person doesn’t spend even 30 minutes a month in total silence and tranquility. Develop the skill of sitting quietly, enjoying the powerful silence for at least ten minutes a day. Silence indeed is golden.

Don’t let your mind float
Do not let your mind float like a piece of paper in the wind. Work hard to keep it focused at all times. When doing a task, think of nothing else. When walking, focus and count your steps. This is not easy but your mind will soon understand that you hold its reins and not vice versa.

Our highest power is love, and it is one thing each of us has an unlimited amount of. How much love do you give to others in one day? We have so much love to give, and the more that we give, the more we receive.

There is nothing more constant than change. It’s happening all around us, everyday, all of the time. Yet, why is it that so many people fear change? Because we get comfortable in the way we’re doing things. When changes come your way keep an open mind and look for ways to take advantage of the situation. The secret to change is to focus on the opportunities on a new path, not the comfort of a worn trail.

Learn the power of breathing and its relationship with your energy source. The mind is intimately connected with your breathing. When the mind is agitated, your breathing becomes quick and shallow. When you are relaxed and focused, your breathing is deep and calm. By practicing deep, abdominal breathing, you will develop a calm, serene demeanor that will remain cool in the hottest of circumstances. To breathe properly is to live properly!

Forgiveness is a virtue that few develop, but one that is most important to maintaining peace of mind. Practice forgiveness especially in those situations where it is difficult. By using your forgiveness muscles more regularly, petty wrongs and remarks will not touch your serene mindset anymore.

A full cup cannot accept anything more. Similarly, a person who believes that he cannot learn anything else will stagnate quickly and not move to higher levels. Be someone who sees every opportunity as a chance to learn. Even the teachers have teachers.
